Matthew Emadi grew up in Layton, Utah. He studied business at Weber State University where he also played on the men’s basketball team from 2002-2006. In 2008, Matthew moved to Louisville to pursue a seminary education at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He earned his Master of Divinity in 2011 and completed a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies in 2016. Matthew was called back to his home state in 2014 to serve as the Senior Pastor of Crossroads Church.
Matthew is married to Brittany and they have five children: Elijah, Jeremiah, Aliyah, Josiah, and Judah.. In his free time, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and children.

Matt grew up in Wyoming, and went to High School in Mississippi where he felt the call of God on his life for ministry. He attended Baptist Bible College from May 2003 – December 2007. He met his wife Mandy while attending college there and they were married in June of 2006.
God placed a burden on their hearts for the people of the Salt Lake Area. Matt arrived as the Student Pastor of Crossroads in January of 2008 and now serves as the pastor or Worship and Discipleship. Matt and Mandy are excited about being able to lead people to Christ and into a deeper and more dedicated relationship with Him.
